Sweet ’41 Willys 4-door that I saw at the 2012 Tracy Bean Festival car show this weekend. Amazing paint that the owner tells me is over 20 years old! This is a really nice car and a not very common example of a Willys. This is a four door which the owner tells me is really rare, there just were not many built and it’s unknown how many are still running out there! He speculates that it may have been an officers staff car from WWII, but the paper trail has a large gap in it and it cannot be confirmed. Either way, it’s a sweet hot rod. I like the flames and the inside looks more comfortable than most of my furniture at home!

Full leather interior, new gauges in the que, hope to see this car again with the changes, stay tuned!

Here is a killer car, a ’61 Pontiac Bonneville! These cars have been on my mind this week, I am even building a ’65 Bonneville scale model. This was seen at the River Club Spring Fling 2012 last April. A killer car for sure!

Saw this one at a small show in Tracy at Tracy Mazda. Sweet looking little Hot Rod, dig those giant wide whitewalls!

Beautiful ’50 Ford Pickup seen today in Tracy at the first “Then and Now Car Show” in downtown Tracy. It was a hot day, and fun was had by many at this all day event that combined cars, trucks and bikes with a farmers market, food, beer and wine vendors and live entertainment on two stages! For car nuts like myself, it was a dream come true that reminded myself and others I spoke with of the early days of GoodGuys or Hot August Nights. The big difference, for me anyway, was this thing was five minutes from my house!
